this october, we are proud to host chef gitika’s pakghor — a deep dive into the rich, diverse cuisines of North East India. 

a former marketing professional, chef gitika has spent the past decade immersing herself in the food traditions of the region, especially those of tribal and ethnic communities often underrepresented in mainstream narratives. inspired by her mother-in-law’s stories about the food practices of the boro tribe, her menus shine a light on traditional techniques like fermentation and smoking, and feature seasonal, foraged ingredients — including silkworms, smoked meats, and indigenous herbs.

more than just a meal, pakghor is a curated experience rooted in storytelling, seasonality, and cultural memory. guests will have the opportunity to taste rare dishes while learning about the histories and rituals that shape them.

1. we offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus. a member of our team will reach out to confirm your preference ahead of the event.
2. if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary accommodations.
3. kindly note that parking is not available at the venue, so we recommend planning your travel accordingly.
4. price is inclusive of all governmental taxes per person. service charge is not included.
5. tickets once booked cannot be cancelled. however, tickets are transferable; please inform us 48 hours in advance if the person who has booked the seats is not accompanying.
